Jets put Leonhard back on punt returns
Rex Ryan has seen enough and he's going to what he knows will work.
Veteran safety Jim Leonhard will go back to being the New York Jets punt returner after yet another muffed punt in Sunday's win over the Washington Redskins. On Sunday it was rookie receiver Jeremy Kerley's miscue that cost the Jets.
"He can catch it in a hurricane," Ryan told the New York Post regarding Leonhard.
Previously, Antonio Cromartie and Joe McKnight, who suffered an elbow injury Sunday, had had punt return issues as the Jets have muffed three punts in their past four games.
