Jets reel in first-round pick Coples

The New York Jets have agreed to a deal with first-round pick Quinton Coples, according to the New York Daily News.

Coples, from the University of North Carolina, was considered one of the best pass rushers available in the 2012 draft.

The deal, under terms of the new CBA, calls for four years fully guaranteed and a fifth-year club option. According to the report, the deal is worth slightly less than what 15th pick Bruce Irvin got from Seattle, which was for $9.3 million with a $5.2 million signing bonus.
