Jets sign Darrell Revis to five-year, $70 million

The New York Jets have landed All-Pro cornerback Darrelle Revis on a five-year, $70 million contract, his second stint with the team. TheĀ  deal includes $40 million guaranteed. Revis has a $16 million base salary for 2015, $17 million in 2016, $13 million in 2017, $11 million in 2018 and $11 million in 2019. In 2017, he has a $2 million roster bonus. Revis was a free agent for only five hours. The New England Patriots declined to exercise a $20 million option for 2015. The Super Bowl champions lose Revis and he switched teams for the third consecutive season. Follow me on Twitter: @RavensInsider Aaron Wilson covers the Ravens for The Baltimore Sun
