Jets sign Dri Archer

The New York Jets have signed running back Dri Archer to a reserve-future deal. Archer ran the 40-yard dash in 4.26 seconds two years ago. However, it hasn't translated into NFL success. He had 10 carries for 40 yards and seven catches for 23 yards as a rookie. He was cut in November. Now, he gets a fresh start with the Jets. The former third-round draft pick averaged 22.4 yards per kickoff return for the Steelers. Follow me on Twitter: @AaronWilson_NFL Aaron Wilson covers the Texans for The Houston Chronicle.
