Jets sign Jeremy Kerley to four-year, $16 million extension
The New York Jets have signed veteran wide receiver Jeremy Kerley to a four-year, $16 million contract extension that includes $5.4 million guaranteed.
The former fifth-round draft pick has 22 catches for 201 yards and a touchdown this season.
Kerley caught 43 passes for 523 yards last season.
In 2012, he had 56 catches for 827 yards.
Jets general manager John Idzik is suddenly spending money now that the Jets have lost six games in a row, also acquiring the contract of wide receiver Percy Harvin.
