Jets worked out punter Zoltan Mesko
The New York Jets recently tried out former Pittsburgh Steelers and New England Patriots punter Zoltan Mesko, according to a league source.
He wasn't signed, though.
Mesko also recently worked out for the Cincinnati Bengals.
Mesko was with the Steelers last season before he was replaced by veteran punter Mat McBriar.
Mesko had a stint with the Bengals late last season.
A former Patriots fifth-round draft pick from Michigan, Mesko has a career punting average of 43.9 yards.
