Jimmy Clausen diagnosed with concussion
Bears quarterback Jimmy Clausen will not play in the season-finale against Minnesota after being diagnosed with a concussion.
Clausen took a hit to the head from Lions defensive lineman Ziggy Ansah but was cleared to resume playing. However, the Bears announced he was experiencing delayed symptoms, which caused the team to reverse the original diagnosis.
With Clausen out, this means the Bears will turn back to Jay Cutler, who was benched after ineffective play over the second half of the season, for the last game of the regular season.
