Joey Porter's dogs kill again

Joey Porter sure isn’t doing much to dispel the belief held by many that pit bulls and mastiffs are vicious and aggressive animals.

Four dogs belonging to the Arizona Cardinals linebacker got loose last Saturday, July 2, and killed a neighbor’s dog, according to the Bakersfield Californian. Per the report, Porter was cited for not having dogs on a leash.

Five years ago when he was playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers, two of Porter’s dogs got loose and killed a miniature horse on a farm in Pennsylvania.

Animal Control spokeswoman Kim Rodriguez told the Californian that Porter’s dogs appeared to be half pit bull, half mastiff. Porter was reportedly upset and apologized.
