John Harbaugh won't be fined for touching official

Baltimore Ravens coach John Harbaugh won't be fined by the NFL for making contact with one of the replacement officials in Sunday night's win over the New England Patriots, according to the Baltimore Sun.

Harbaugh was flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct in the fourth quarter, and he later admitted to making contact with the official while trying to call a timeout.

Well, here’s how I understand it. I guess I didn’t understand how [the referee] interpreted it. But, what we’re told is to get the timeout where they can see it in front of their face in those situations," Harbaugh said after the game. "That’s what I’ve been told for five years going into this game. I think he took it as bumping him. I didn’t mean to bump him. I wanted to call a timeout, so I apologize for bumping, but the intent was to call a timeout.”

Meanwhile, New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick could be expecting a fine for grabbing one of the replacement officials' arms after the game when he was apparently wanting a review of the Ravens' game-winning field goal.
