Johnny Manziel involved in domestic incident involving alcohol, not charged with crime

Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel and his girlfriend got in an argument and had been drinking alcohol. According to police, Manziel's girlfriend, Colleen Crowley, was intoxicated and she told police Manziel hit her and pushed her head against the glass of the car. No charges were filed, and they were allowed to leave with no arrests. In January, Manziel admitted himself into Caron Treatment Center in Pennsylvania. He had addictions to drugs and other personal issues. Manziel is expected to be active for the game Sunday. “We were aware of the situation," Browns general manager Ray Farmer said in a statement. "It is a matter that we take seriously and have expressed our concerns to Johnny directly. Those conversations will remain private and we will refrain from further comment at this time.” Follow me on Twitter: @AaronWilson_NFL Aaron Wilson covers the Texans for The Houston Chronicle.
