Johnny Manziel to start for Browns

Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel will start Thursday night against the Cincinnati Bengals due to starting quarterback Josh McCown having an injured throwing shoulder and ribs. He was in pain during the Browns' loss to the Arizona Cardinals. "On the short week we realized that Josh just wasn't going to be able to get to the point where he could go,” said Browns coach Mike Pettine. “Johnny has worked hard to prepare himself. He is excited about his opportunity and we are all looking forward to the challenge we face in a good Bengals football team on Thursday night." Manziel has appeared in three games this season and completed 28-of-50 passes for 393 yards, three touchdowns and an interception.
