Ole Miss inside linebacker Jonathan Cornell is expected to sign with the Tennessee Titans, according to a league source.

Before the NFL draft, Cornell visited the Baltimore Ravens and the San Diego Chargers.

Cornell was an honorable-mention All-Southeastern Conference selection.last season, leading the defense with 80 tackles and ranking 11th in the conference overall.

He also had 14 tackles for losses and 4 1/2 sacks.

As a junior, he recorded 79 tackles, eight for losses, three quarterback pressures and two pass deflections.

During his sophomore year, he finished with 45 tackles, 5 1/2 for losses and three sacks.

The 6-foot-1, 235-pounder is highly regarded for his tackling ability and pursuit.
