Jonathan Martin considering retirement

Carolina Panthers offensive tackle Jonathan Martin, the offensive lineman who got harassed during the Miami Dolphins' bullying scandal, is considering retirement. Martin hurt his back, according to his agent. He's not able to practice for six weeks and needs surgery. Martin is planning to retire. "He tells me he's not going to play," Zuckerman said. "I told him to never say never (because) there are always medical advancements. If his back has a miraculous comeback without surgery he would like to play."
