Jonathan Stewart healthiest since 2011
Jonathan Stewart was once expected to be one of the NFL's next great running backs.
In 2009, Stewart ran for 1,133 yards and 10 touchdowns, which seemed to be the start of a great 1-2 punch with him and DeAngelo Williams. But Stewart has dealt with a multitude of injuries since and hasn't been the running back many thought he'd be.
Well, now, Stewart says appears as healthy as he's been since Ron Rivera became Carolina's head coach in 2011.
“The past is the past and you can’t really look at what last year was for me, or the year before,” Stewart told The Charlotte Observer. “You can only take what you’ve learned and you can only make the best out of what’s to come. As far as injuries last year, I had them. Hopefully the things I’m doing now allow me to put myself in position to not get injured.”
