Josh Atkinson, George Atkinson's son, runs 4.33 at Azusa Pacific Pro Day
Azusa Pacific cornerback Josh Atkinson, the son of former Oakland Raiders All-Pro defenisve back George Atkinson and the brother of Raiders running back George Atkinson III, ran a 4.33 and a 4.39 in the 40-yard dash Tuesday at his Pro Day workout.
The Notre Dame transfer bench pressed 225 pounds 16 times and had a 36-inch vertical leap.
The 5-11 5/8, 190-pounder played three seasons at Notre Dame as a cornerback and was in the Fighting Irish indoor and outdoor track and field team as a sprinter.
He had a 6.88 in the 60-meter dash, 21.79 in the 200 meters and a 10.39 in the 100 meters.
Atkinson didn't play football in 2014.
Atkinson was an all-conference defensive back in high school growing up in California.
Atkinson is a Notre Dame graduate.
