Justin Blackmon added to Jaguars' active roster

The Jacksonville Jaguars removed their roster exemption for wide receiver Justin Blackmon and added him to the active roster.

Blackmon's four-game suspension for violating the NFL substance-abuse policy is over and the Jaguars had a roster exemption through this week.

Now, he's back. They cut offensive guard Jacques McClendon to create a roster spot for Blackmon.

Blackmon set franchise rookie records last season with 64 receptions, 865 receiving yards and average per reception (13.5). His five receiving touchdowns tied the Jaguars' rookie record and ranked second among all NFL rookies. He started all but one game.

Now, Blackmon needs to stay out of trouble and produce on the football field again.
