Keith Bulluck signs with Giants
Seven months removed from surgery to repair a torn ACL, Keith Bulluck has a new team.
The veteran linebacker has agreed to a deal with the New York Giants, according to Tom Friend of ESPN.com. Bulluck worked out for the team earlier in the week. It brings the former standout for the Tennessee Titans home as he is a native of New City, N.Y. He’ll add a veteran presence after the retirement of Antonio Pierce.
Per the report, Bulluck will be given the starting middle linebacker job and he chose it after working out for the Arizona Cardinals, who are looking for help at inside linebacker after losing Karlos Dansby in free agency and having Gerald Hayes sidelined following back surgery.
“I'm a New York dude -- no way I can play anyplace else," Bulluck told Friend. "New York's about toughness&the NFC East. That's where I belong.”
