Kenny Phillips fined $20,000 for hit on Zach Miller
New York Giants safety Kenny Phillips has been fined $20,000 by the NFL for a hit on Seattle Seahawks tight end Zach Miller in last Sunday’s loss.
Phillips displayed the letter in his locker on Wednesday and wrote “Help” on it, according to the Newark Star-Ledger. He was fined for hitting a defenseless receiver.
The NFL raised the ante for Phillips this time. He was fined $10,000 earlier in the season for a hit on Washington Redskins tight end Fred Davis.
