Kevin Ellison bounced out of Seattle
Pete Carroll’s reunion with Kevin Ellison didn’t last so long.
They’ll have to catch up again soon, some other way as the Seattle Seahawks have released the young safety who they claimed off waivers from the San Diego Chargers earlier in the week. Per Howard Balzer of the St. Louis Globe-Deomcrat, Ellison did not pass his physical.
A sixth-round pick a year ago out of USC, Ellison has run into trouble. He was arrested and charged with possessing Vicodin pills last month. Although he started at times for the Chargers last season, his career is unraveling quickly and the Seahawks seemed like about the best place possible for him because of his ties to the head coach.
