Kyle Shanahan ready to get Josh Gordon back
The Browns are sitting atop the AFC North at the moment and figure to be getting even better after this week, regardless if they win or lose against the Texans.
Receiver Josh Gordon will make his return to the team after serving a 10-game suspension. He was initially suspended for the season but had his punishment for violating the substance-abuse policy reduced after a new drug testing agreement was reached between the NFL and NFL Player's Association.
Browns offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan is eagerly awaiting getting the NFL's top receiver in 2013 back to his game plan, which could further open things up for Brian Hoyer and the Browns' offense.
"I know that's next week, and I can't wait to get him back,'' Shanahan said, via The Cleveland Plain Dealer. "I'm looking forward to it.''
After so many years of being an NFL laughing stock, the Browns truly look like contenders at this stage. And the thing is, they're only going to get better with Gordon joining the offense.
