Lance Dunbar likely out for the season

An MRI revealed that Cowboys running back Lance Dunbar has a torn posterior cruciate ligament tear, which will likely end his season, the team announced.

Dunbar was having his best game of the season during Thursday's win over the Oakland Raiders. Dunbar finished with 12 carries for 82 rushing yards.

With Dunbar out, Phillip Tanner and Joseph Randle will be asked to provide extended roles as DeMarco Murray's backup running backs.
