Larry Fitzgerald Sr. upset with son's role
In years past, Larry Fitzgerald was the top offensive weapon on the Arizona Cardinals.
Now, this team has more weapons. Michael Floyd is an emerging receiver. John Brown is an intriguing rookie. Andre Ellington is a running and receiving threat out of the backfield. John Carlson and Rob Housler are formidable tight ends.
Therefore, Fitzgerald doesn't have to be the No. 1 option each week. That apparently doesn't sit well his father, sportswriter Larry Fitzgerald Sr.
"Being a receiver you can work hard run all game and your dependent on the coach calling your number," he tweeted from his personal account. "And the quarterback getting you the ball"
He also tweeted, "The world saw on Monday Night Football the politics and business of football. If its been decided that you are not getting the ball just win"
Keep in mind that the Cardinals won 18-17. Yet Sr. is claiming about Jr.'s targets.
Let that sink in for a moment.
