LeGarrette Blount back with Patriots

The New England Patriots have re-signed veteran running back LeGarrette Blount to a one-year contract. Blount was re-signed one day after the Patriots cut running back Tyler Gaffney. Blount has recovered from a chipped bone in his hip that sidelined him at the end of the season. Blount will be paired with Dion Lewis, James White, Donald Brown, Brandon Bolden and Joey Iosefa. Blount rushed for 703 yards and six touchdowns last season. Blount is one of the most powerful running backs in the NFL.
