LeSean McCoy sees no reason for Umenyiora to be paid
If Osi Umenyiora manages to stay with the New York Giants after news that he’s called out general manager Jerry Reese for allegedly reneging on a promise, this could be interesting.
Heck, things will be interesting if Umenyiora can simply remains in the NFC East.
That’s because after news of Umenyiora’s affidavit in court broke on Thursday, Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy had some analysis for the situation. As McCoy sees it, maybe the Giants shouldn’t have to pay Umenyiora based on performance.
“Overrated n soft,” McCoy wrote on his personal Twitter account. “3rd best d-line on his team honestly.”
Umenyiora was battling injuries last season and has had hip surgery. If he sticks with the Giants, two games against the Eagles could be intriguing. Don’t you think?
