LeSean McCoy wouldn't mind fewer carries
After carrying the ball 31 times in Philadelphia's win over Washington Monday night, running back LeSean McCoy said he wouldn't mind taking fewer carries.
Acknowledging that the season is long, McCoy hinted he Eagles could be wise to give backup Bryce Brown more touches.
"I didn't mind it Monday night," McCoy told PhillyMag.com. "I think we can do a better job rotating because it's a long season. I don't think I need to have the ball 31, 32 times in a game for us to be a successful offense. We have too many different weapons."
The Eagles offense looked explosive against a Redskins defense early on. McCoy was a big part of that, running for 184 yards and a touchdown.
