Lions, Buccaneers resolve dispute, George Johnson traded to Tampa Bay

The Detroit Lions and Tampa Bay Buccaneers have resolved their dispute over an offer sheet for restricted free agent defensive end George Johnson. Johnson was traded to the Buccaneers for an exchange of late-round draft picks as the Lions dropped their grievance over de-escalator language in the offer sheet. Johnson still gets his three-year, $9 million contract. Johnson had six sacks last season. Follow me on Twitter: @RavensInsider Aaron Wilson covers the Ravens for The Baltimore Sun
