Lions cut C.J. Wilson

The Detroit Lions released veteran defensive tackle C.J. Wilson. They saved $2.3 million in cap space. He played in eight games and recorded eight ackles. Wilson was due $1.8 million next season, along with a $250,000 workout bonus and a $250,000 roster bonus.
