Lions cut Joique Bell

The Detroit Lions cut running back Joique Bell, saving $2.5 million against the salary cap. Bell rushed for 860 yards and seven touchdowns in 2014. Last season, Bell battled injuries. He was behind Ameer Abdullah, Theo Riddick and Zach Zenner on the depth chart. Follow me on Twitter: @AaronWilson_NFL Aaron Wilson covers the Texans for The Houston Chronicle.
