Lions defensive coordinator expects Suh to be back

Detroit Lions defensive coordinator Teryl Austin expects star defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh to be back with the team next season. Austin is drawing up plans with Suh in mind for next season. Suh is a pending free agent. "It hasn't crossed my mind," Austin said. "I'm planning on him being back." If the Lions lose Suh, a potential franchise player at a $26.7 million expense, it would cause a major problem with their defense. "I think anytime you have a great player, he impacts your defense in a positive way," Austin said. "I mean that's what he is. You can't get around it. You can sugar coat it or say whatever you want, but he's a great player. He changes the game." Follow me on Twitter: @RavensInsider Aaron Wilson covers the Ravens for The Baltimore Sun
