Lions find way to lose another game

Leave it to the Detroit Lions to find a way to lose Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Matthew Stafford wound up throwing four interceptions and the Buccaneers went on to win 24-21. The Lions were up 21-17 entering the fourth quarter and then allowed an 85-yard touchdown from Mike Glennon to Tiquan Underwood.

From there, the Lions were unable to threaten offensively until near the end of the game. And what should have been a routine catch for Calvin Johnson, which would have put the ball inside the 10-yard line, turned into an interception. Megatron was unable to hold onto a pass, which was dislodged and intercepted.

The Lions were sitting pretty in the NFC North race a couple of weeks ago. Now they're 6-5. The good news? The Bears are also 6-5 and the Packers are 5-5-1.

Somehow, the Lions are still tied for the division lead, even after losing to two sub-.500 teams in back-to-back weeks.

The Bucs, to their credit, are now 3-8 and winners of three straight. Maybe this is something Greg Schiano and the Buccaneers players can build on.
