Lions releasing Louis Delmas
Nate Burleson isn't the only one that will be leaving the Detroit Lions' franchise.
The organization announced that safety Louis Delmas has been released from the organization, the same day they announced the Burleson move.
Cutting Delmas and Burleson gives the Lions some cap relief, as the team just saved $11.5 million for the 2014 season.
Drafted in the second round of the 2009 NFL draft, Delmas totaled 331 tackles, five sacks, six interceptions and four forced fumbles during his tenure with the Lions.
