Lions send George Johnson, seventh-rounder to Buccaneers for fifth-round pick

The Detroit Lions traded defensive end George Johnson and a seventh-round draft pick to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in exchange for a fifth-round draft pick. The Lions traded a fourth and fifth-round pick to the Baltimore Ravens for nose tackle Haloti Ngata earlier this year. Now, they have sent the Ravens' original seventh-round pick to the Buccaneers. Johnson gets a three-year, $9 million deal from the Buccaneers. He had six sacks last season for the Lions. Follow me on Twitter: @RavensInsider Aaron Wilson covers the Ravens for The Baltimore Sun
