Lions want Suh back, badly

The Detroit Lions want defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh back, but it's expected to be a departure for the defensive star due to his hefty contract demands.

Suh broke down in tears during his news conference on Sunday.

The Lions have made re-signing Suh a big priority

"That will continue to be one of our highest priorities," Lions coach Jim Caldwell said. "That's going to be addressed constantly here until we come to some conclusion."

Suh has 238 tackles, 36 sacks, two forced fumbles, a fumble recovery and an interception.

"There's no question about it," Caldwell said. "He's a dominant, dominant player who we benefit greatly from having his services. He's a tremendous asset to our team, and I'll leave it at that."
