Locker could get first start vs. Colts
Rookie Jake Locker could be on the verge getting his first NFL start this Sunday for the Tennessee Titans, according to TitanInsider.com.
Matt Hasselbeck's calf injury is not beleived to be too serious, but it still could be bad enough that the 36-year-old quarterback will need a week of rest, which would open the door for Locker to make his first start against the winless Indianapolis Colts at Lucas Oil Stadium.
Locker came off the bench Sunday and rallied the Titans to within five yards of an upset of the New Orleans Saints, hitting 13 of 29 passes for 282 yards. He ran for one touchdown and threw for another in the loss.
