Mangold may have high ankle sprain

Sunday's only negative for the New York Jets – other than those hideous NY Titans uniforms they insist on wearing two years after the AFL's 50th anniversary – was an ankle injury suffered by center Nick Mangold.

Mangold was wearing a protective boot and on crutches after the Jets' 32-3 smashing of the Jacksonville Jaguars and will undergo an MRI today.

X-rays showed no broken bones, according to the New York Daily News, but there are various reports that Mangold has a high ankle sprain, which could sideline him for a few weeks.
