Marcedes Lewis activated from IR-designated to return

The Jacksonville Jaguars have activated tight end Marcedes Lewis from injured reserve-designated to return.

They placed rookie wide receiver Allen Robinson on injured reserve with a broken foot.

Lewis, 30, had a high-ankle sprain. He had eight catches for 106 yards and a touchdown earlier this season.

Robinson had caught 48 passes for 548 yards on 81 targets before getting hurt.

The Jaguars released tight end Mike Flacco from the practice squad.
