Marshawn Lynch plans to retire

Seattle Seahawks star running back Marshawn Lynch is retiring. Lynch posted a Twitter photo that he'd hung up his cleats. Seahawks owner Paul Allen wrote: "@Seahawks Thank you @MoneyLynch for a great career as a Seahawk. So many memorable runs and quakes! !" Lynch missed nine regular-season games and one in the playoffs after undergoing surgery associated with a sports abdomen injury on Nov. 25. The previous four seasons, Lynch had missed just one game. Lynch will turn 30 this offseason considered retirement last year after dealing with back issues. Lynch rushed  2,144 times for 9,112 yards and 74 touchdowns in nine NFL seasons.
