Marshawn Lynch's availability still in question for Sunday

Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch did not practice Wednesday and his status for Sunday’s season opener at Arizona remains clouded.

Lynch has been sidelined with back spasms that he initially suffered last month after playing in the club’s second preseason games. According to Danny O’Neil of the Seattle Times, he has not practiced since. Does he think he will be able to face the Cardinals?

The goal is to," Lynch said. "But I'll stay ready. If I do, I do, and if I don't, I don't."

Rookie Robert Turbin would likely replace Lynch if the back issues do not clear up in time.

“We'll have to take him day by day," Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said. "See how he responds to the work, and we really won't know until the end of the week unless something changes."
