Matthew Stafford to throw at Georgia's spring game
Matthew Stafford is ready to do some throwing in public.
The Detroit Lions quarterback, three months removed from surgery on his right shoulder, will participate in the Legends Quarterback Challenge at halftime of Saturday’s spring game at the school.
That’s what the Bulldogs announced on their Web site, according to Tim Twentyman of the Detroit News. Stafford will be up against Eric Zeier, David Greene and D.J. Shockley.
Stafford separated his right shoulder twice last season and missed 13 games.
