Another day, another linebacker with ties to the Cincinnati Bengals in court.

Except this time, the news was good for Rey Maualuga, whose assault charge stemming from a bar incident in February, was dismissed. Maualuga was accused to assaulting the manager at a bar called Downtown.

On Wednesday, former Bengals linebacker Nate Webster was convicted in an incident involving an underage girl.

Maualuga and the plaintiff agreed to mediation and a settlement was reached and presented in court, causing the case to be dropped.
