McFadden apparently has Lisfranc injury
During the broadcast of Sunday's game between Oakland and Green Bay, CBS announcer Phil Simms mentioned that Raiders running back Darren McFadden has a "Lisfranc" injury to his foot.
According to InsideBayArea.com, Raiders coach Hue Jackson was asked about the "Lisfranc" remark after the game. A "Lisfranc" injury, which is a mid-foot joint injury, is usually a season-ender as it was for Houston quarterback Matt Schaub this year.
Jackson basically confirmed that McFadden has a Lisfranc injury, but stopped short of saying it is season-ending.
"It's a sprained foot, Lisfranc, whatever you want to call it. Basically the same thing," Jackson said. "I think Darren will be back before the season's over."
