Miami Running Back Javarris James
Javarris James: No. 5, RB, 5-11, 208
James showcases good natural instincts in between the tackles with the agility and body control to hit the cutback lane and square his shoulders quickly. He possesses good short-area quickness for his size and has the power to occasionally step through/break a tackle inside. He isn’t overly powerful but will lower his shoulder through the line and fight for tough yards. He plays at one speed and lacks the burst to be any kind of a threat in the open field. He also lacks a great first step attacking the line of scrimmage and struggles to separate once he gains a step. He will struggle to average 4.0 yards per carry at the next level.
