Michael Sam signed to Cowboys' practice squad

Rookie defensive end Michael Sam offiically joined the Dallas Cowboys' practice squad today after taking a physical.

Sam is the first openly gay active player in the NFL.

The St. Louis Rams cut the former Missouri All-American pass rusher on Saturday.
