Michael Vick could return next Sunday at Miami

Michael Vick could be returning to what is left of the Philadelphia Eagles’ season this week.

Andy Reid said the quarterback, who has missed the previous three games with two broken ribs, could return to the practice field on Monday, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. If all goes well, Vick could start next Sunday at Miami.

The Eagles have a long weekend following their embarrassing loss in Seattle on Thursday night when fill-in quarterback Vince Young was intercepted four times.

“In what role, we'll see,” Reid said of McNabb practicing on Monday. “But I think there is a pretty good chance. I want to see him throw the ball and really put torque on it for at least a handful or more than a handful of plays.”

Reid also didn’t rule out looking a Mike Kafka after Young’s poor outing.
