Michael Vick inks a deal for his autograph
We’ve established that Michael Vick won’t be putting a puppy under the Christmas tree for his kids this week.
He could be putting autographed memorabilia under the tree of other kids, though. That is if their parents want to pop big bucks for signed Vick memorabilia.
CNBC’s Darren Rovell reports that Vick has signed an exclusive autograph deal with Nevada-based J.O. Sports that goes “well beyond” this year’s Super Bowl, meaning J.O. has Vick signed just long enough to make a stash of cash if the Eagles and Vick can find a way to win Super Bowl XLV.
J.O. just completed a private signing with Vick and you can add a signed 8x10 under your tree for $139. A signed mini-helmet is $199. An autographed NFL football is $349. An autographed jersey is $399. Pro helmets are $599. The company will also be receiving game-worn equipment.
It’s the second known marketing deal for Vick, who was signed on as a pitch man for a New Jersey car dealership.
