The New York Giants have signed cornerback Mike Harris to their active roster off of the Detroit Lions' practice squad.

Harris is a former Jacksonville Jaguars sixth-round draft pick.

He's started eight games with one interception.

The Giants are banged-up at cornerback. Walter Thurmond and Trumaine McBride are out for the season. Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie has dealt with injuries.
