Mississippi State corner Taveze Calhoun works out for Cowboys, Lions, Jaguars, 49ers, Buccaneers, visits Patriots, Dolphins
Mississippi State cornerback Taveze Calhoun has visits with the New England Patriots and Miami Dolphins and private workouts for the Dallas Cowboys, Detroit Lions, Jacksonville Jaguars, San Francisco 49ers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, according to league sources.
Calhoun have 39 tackles, 6 1/2 for losses and two interceptions and 10 pass breakups.
He was a finalist for the Campbell Trophy for the academic Heisman award.
Calhoun had 53 tackles, an interception and nine pass breakups as a junior.
He had three interceptions as a sophomore.
At his campus Pro Day, Calhoun had a 35 1/2 inch vertical leap, a 9-8 broad jump, a 4.5 short shuttle and a 7.03 three-cone drill.
The 6-foot, 192-pounder has run the 40-yard dash in 4.5 seconds and bench pressed 225 pounds 14 times.
