MJD to be AWOL from Jaguars' OTAs

Maurice Jones-Drew will not be at the Jacksonville Jaguars first day of OTAs on Tuesday, says the Florida Times-Union.

Jones-Drew has now shown up for any of the Jaguars off-season work thus far, apparently in a squabble over his contract. Jones-Drew is hoping for a contract more in line apparently with players like Adrian Peterson, Chris Johnson and Arian Foster, who all have inked new deals within the past year. Johnson and Foster, of course, are in MJD's own division, the AFC South.

Also, kicker Josh Scobee, the Jaguars franchise player, who has not signed his tender and would like a long-term extension, won't be at OTAs either, says the report.
