Mohamed Sanu to Falcons on five-year deal

Former Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Mohamed Sanu joined the Atlanta Falcons today on a five-year, $32.5 million contract. The deal includes $14 million guaranteed. It's over $6 million per year. Sanu will play opposite Julio Jones in an offense that no longer has Roddy White after cutting him from the roster. In four seasons with the Bengals, he played in 57 games with 34 starts, while posting 152 receptions, 1,793 receiving yards, and 11 touchdowns. Last season, Sanu played in all 16 games with four starts and recorded 33 receptions and 394 receiving yards. He also had 10 rushes for 71 yards and two touchdowns.
