Monmouth TE Hakeem Valles worked out for Seahawks, to work out for Falcons

Monmouth tight end Hakeem Valles worked out privately Monday for the Seattle Seahawks and has a private workout Thursday with Atlanta Falcons tight ends coach Wade Harman, according to a league source. Valles is also working out at the Philadelphia Eagles and New York Giants' local prospect days. He has had dinner or lunch meetings with Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight ends coach Jon Embree, Falcons scout Mike Ross and San Diego Chargers scout James MacPherson. Valles excelled at his Pro Day workout with a 4.60 40-yard dash time at 6-4, 242 pounds, with 10 NFL teams attending the workout: the Falcons, Buccaneers, Giants, New York Jets, Oakland Raiders, Indianapolis Colts, San Francisco 49ers, Chargers, Green Bay Packers and Kansas City Chiefs. Valles is a rising draft prospect who's gaining traction as part of an unheralded tight end class. Follow me on Twitter: @AaronWilson_NFL Aaron Wilson covers the Texans for The Houston Chronicle.
